Christmas Music Now Playing On JOY Radio

Christmas music!!! It’s tiiiiiime! And you know me! I love walking in a winter wonderland, chestnuts roasting on an open fire, hearing sleigh bells ringing and, now a decade into motherhood… enjoying the sweet gift of a silent night. And it seems I’m not alone, because so many people are already playing the classics on repeat. There’s just something about Christmas music that brings warmth, nostalgia, and a deeper sense of meaning to the season.

What’s interesting about this list is that it blends timeless classics with modern Christian hits. Songs like O Holy Night and Silent Night have been sung for generations, carrying centuries of tradition and worship. At the same time, newer songs like Give This Christmas Away and I Still Believe in Christmas bring a fresh, contemporary perspective to the season, emphasizing generosity, hope, and faith in today’s world. This mix allows us to celebrate the full spectrum of Christmas,  from reflection and reverence to joy and celebration.

Even though we’re officially in the Christmas season, all of our music continues to celebrate our faith, so you’ll still hear a blend of meaningful, worshipful songs throughout the month.

With that said, we’ll be going 100% Christmas music on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and then we’ll return to our regular seasonal mix on December 27.
